Update on FishFood's Hosting Service |

This is an update on the FishFood Media Hosting Service!!! Please read
As you are aware I have taken the decision to stop personally providing the hosting service which I have been running for about 8 years now. This DOES NOT mean that you need to jump ship to alternative hosting providers as I have reached an agreement with another Christian IT company who have a solid reputation and experience of running their own web hosting services.
We will give you more details in the very near future, but for now the good news is that although I will personally stop being involved in this so I can concentrate on planting churches, you will continue to be very well looked after and need do nothing at all! In fact, I am very confident that you will not only be very well looked after, you will in fact actually be better looked after with the new owners.
A big thank you to everyone, and every blessing for the future.
The FishFood Media website will remain, but all hosting services and information will be available under a different name to be revealed shortly.

From 5am on Friday 2nd March until 6am Monday 5th March, the FishFood server was offline. This news item is a full explanation of what happened and what will happen next. The first thing to say though is an utterly heart felt apology to each and every client of FishFood Media's hosting service, and through each of you to your own users who rely on FishFood Media for their email provision.

This is a brand new website aiming to create a community from all the people in all the churches who are interested in or actively using media stuff in any church in any way.
FishFoods vision is to support the church by bringing people together
to share ideas, answers, and resources - and also to provide a very
personal service with FishFoods own brand of webhosting and video
production.
More than that though, ultimately FishFood is a place to share
anything you make for use in church based ministry. Up and down the
country, across the world, inspired christians are making their own
videos, spending hours crafting a superb powerpoint presentation, or
whatever it might be, and these media goodies get used once in one
church and then never see the light of day again. FishFood is a place
to stop that nonsense and start sharing what God has enabled us to do.

How to get software legally and cheaply |

You had the emails no doubt, offering you amazing top brand software at ridiculous prices. Beware! 99 times out of 100 these are going to be dodgy and ought to serve no part of a church's inventory as more than likely they are nothing other than copied CD's (which is of course theft), or ones which do not carry the correct license for your use. Alternative Worship Resources |

The phrase "alternative worship" is used for just about anything now-a-days where worship is organised differently to your standard hymn-sermon-liturgy sandwich. So just what is it and where do you find out more?
Personally I would class Alternative Worship as any form of worship in which creativity was viewed as more important than tradition and familiarity, and in which journey was more important than linear structure. The trouble though with being creative is that you need inspiration and resources, and the trouble with 'journeying' is that it is often hard to work out where you are starting from and where you want to end up. So I thought it might be helpful to put together some resources and ideas for folk who might be just starting out on the 'journey' or who are in need of some more inspiration and resources.
