Fetch is the most popular FTP program for the Mac. Now available in Universal form for Intel processors and still compatible with older models too. Fetch is a powerful yet really easy to use program.

It isn't a free program, but they do offer educational/charity discounts - and at the end of the day, it's not expensive either!
