Alternative Worship - Spirit of the New

n alternative worship it's easy to find instrumental music that is a soundscape for a service and to find tracks that have a suitable vocal to play. But it is often more of a struggle to find songs/hymns which have both lyrics with depth and artistic integrity and musical arrangements that have the right feel.

Spirit Of The New does these two things. With writers Doug Gay, Jonny Baker, Adrian Riley, Andy Thornton and Jon Birch contributing, this is a set of really strong new songs. Laid back grooves, gorgeous arrangements, a percussive feel, and Rosie Piper's atmospheric vocals all blend to create perhaps Proost's finest release to date.
